Vivo has expanded its range of Y-series smartphones with the launch of the Vivo Y77e 5G today (August 12) in China. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity SoC chipset.
Vivo Y77e: price, colors and availability
Vivo Y77e comes with a price tag of CNY 1,699 (about Rs 20,000) for the 8GB+128GB storage variant. The smartphone is also available in two other storage variants: 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB. However, the prices of these variants are not yet disclosed by the company. The handset is available in three color variants: crystal black, crystal powderand Summer listening to the sea.
Vivo Y77e: Features and Specifications
The Vivo Y77e has a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2,408 pixels. The smartphone offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.6%, along with a touch frequency of 180 Hz. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock for secure authentication.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC chipset coupled with Mali G57 GPU and offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The Vivo Y77 has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Front is a home for 8 MP sensor for snapping selfies and making video calls. The onboard camera unit – HDR, multi-layer portrait, slow-motion, panorama, live photo and super night mode and others.
Connectivity options include– WLAN4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPSGlonass, OTG and a USB Type-C port.
The Vivo Y77e has a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The battery promises to provide up to 25 days of standby time on a single charge.
