Uzbekistan offers 2000 medical seats to Ukraine-returned Indian students

At the request of the Government of India, Uzbekistan’s Medical Higher Educational Institutes (MHEIs) of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health are making 2000 seats available to relocate Indian medical students from Ukraine by the former MCI and NMC standards (Screening test Regulations 2002) and ( Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate – FMGL Regulations 2021).

According to the press release, education will be provided at an affordable budget through a study-and-stay-in-a-place with Indian food. Uzbekistan offers Indian students two medical programs: 6 years MD Diploma and 5+1 years MBBS degree with one year internship.

To prepare students for the FMGE/NEXT exam, the university has a large modern infrastructure, a large number of teaching beds in associated government hospitals and clinics, and 30% Indian and international professors with additional training.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov presented the preliminary admission letters to the students who successfully passed the interview session conducted by the higher medical institutes of the government of Uzbekistan such as the Bukhar State Medical Institute and the Tashkent Medical Academy, which were held during the interview sessions were successful.
