While the launch event will be in 2023, two new MacBooks from Apple have recently appeared on Steam’s hardware database. The database contains computers and software used to access Steam games. According to an
Mac Rumors report, some users noticed “Mac14.6” and “Mac15.4”, which appeared in Steam’s November 2022 survey list.
Both unannounced Macs appeared in the Steam database at 0 percent usage, meaning the devices are currently in the testing phase.
Apple’s upcoming MacBook Pros come in 14-inch and 16-inch configurations and can show off the tech giant’s M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. Almost every tech enthusiast already knows what the M2 chip is capable of, as we’ve seen its features and specs in the 13-inch MacBook Pro. So it will be interesting to see how the M2 Pro chip interacts with Apple’s upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch models.
Apple’s initial plan was to release the new MacBook Pro devices this fall, but the launch was later pushed back to 2023. In addition to the upcoming MacBooks, Apple is also working on the Mac Studio, Mac Pro, and Mac mini.
According to the latest reports, Apple is also planning to introduce the fourth-generation iPhone SE with a 6.1-inch LCD display and a notch cutout.
New leaks also suggest that the device looks similar to the iPhone XR. The report also hinted at the possibility of Apple including the Dynamic Island on the iPhone SE 4 when it launches in 2024.
