Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Games have reached a settlement. In it, Crystal Dynamics will develop a new multiplatform for Tomb Raider with full support from Amazon Games for publishing the game worldwide.

The sequel would feature a narrative adventure where Lara Croft finds herself in an environment that rewards exploration and intelligent pathfinding. The game also features a lot of brain puzzles and a great diversity of enemies that Lara Croft would have to fight against.

The new Tomb Raider game uses Unreal Engine 5, making it the most comprehensive Tomb Raider sequel ever. Amazon Games Vice President Christoph Hartmann is excited about partnering with Crystal Dynamics as the new chapter of Lara Croft will come to life.
