TATA IPL 2023 Player Auction List Announced
The TATA IPL 2023 Player Auction list is out with a total of 405 cricketers set to go under the hammer on December 23, 2022 in Kochi. Initially, a total of 369 players were shortlisted from 10 teams from the original list of 991 players. Thirty-six additional players have been requested by teams, which will be added to the final roster, making a total of 405 players to be featured at the TATA IPL 2023 Auction.
Of the 405 players, 273 are Indian and 132 are foreign players, of which 4 are players from associated countries. The total number of capped players is 119, uncapped players are 282 and 4 from associated countries.
There are now a maximum of 87 slots available, of which a maximum of 30 are available to foreign players.
INR 2 crore is the highest reserve prize with 19 foreign players opting to be placed in the highest tier.
11 players are on the auction list with a base price of INR 1.5 crore. Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal are the two Indian players in the list of 20 cricketers with a base price of INR 1 crore.
The auction starts at 2:30 PM IST.
