SamMobile claims that Samsung’s December update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is about 404MB in size and fixes 93 security flaws. The vulnerabilities related to hijacking, private data disclosure and access to RCS calls have been fixed, according to Samsung’s Android security alert.
If they have not yet received the OTA update, Galaxy Z Fold 4 customers in the US can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to download the latest fix for their device.
Several eligible Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the Note 20, S20 and S21 series, received the highly anticipated One UI 5.0 upgrade last month, which is based on Android 13.
The most recent version of the operating system was originally available on Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S22 series. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 are the most recent foldable devices from Samsung, and they had to wait for a stable version of the One UI 5.0.
