Kohima, Sept. 23 (MexN): Samagra Shiksha Nagaland, in partnership with Top Prosthetics Orthotics Rehabilitation Center (TRORC) Imphal, has distributed a total of 664 aids and special needs children’s aids (CwSNs) to 203 beneficiaries during the distribution camps to be held in the districts from September 7-13.
The assistance and resources were provided to CwSNs based on identification during the Assessment Camps held at the 46 Educational Block Resource Center (EBRCs) from March 14 to 26 this year. Temsunaro Aier, director of the state mission, Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland, informed that participation in the assessment camps for identification of motor disabilities is vital for children with special needs to benefit from the Samagra Shiksha program. The Assessment Camps are held every year for the identification of children with motor disabilities. This activity is funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
