Major concerns have been raised about the recruitment of secondary school teachers as all ten members’ posts are vacant in the selection committee of the Secondary Education Service, which recruits teachers and principals in non-government aided secondary schools in Uttar Pradesh. Because of this, more than 6000 appointments are fixed.
It has now also been four months since the application process for the vacant posts of Members has been completed and the Government has failed to appoint the Members.
Now the recruitment process is stuck for about 2000 posts of director and about 4000 posts of TGT-PGT.
ALL JOBS VACANCY IN SECONDARY EDUCATION SELECTION BOARD
The term of office of the members of the VO Selection Committee is two years and the term of five members ended in March 2022. This was their second term.
Now there is no longer a member of the jury except the chairman. Therefore, the selection process cannot be started.
APPLICATIONS WANTED FOR VACANCIES
On the other hand, in April 2022, the government had applied for applications to fill the vacant posts of members. The last application date was May 14, 2022. The government has received about 900 applications.
After the assessment of the applications, the date of the interview will be announced by the government.

He said the six-month recruiting process for the five member vacancies from the past four years took a year and a half.
An aspiring Akshay Dixit said that due to the unavailability of members, the recruitment will not start. The delay in recruitment puts a mental and financial strain on candidates as age increases and it takes one and a half to two years to recruit for a vacancy; so the tension is rising.
