Anant National University, in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, has delivered the Global Education Entrepreneurship & Innovation Certificate Program, an immersive week-long boot camp that brings critical lessons from Penn GSE’s pioneering work in education innovation.
The Global Education Entrepreneurship and Innovation certificate program provides essential knowledge, skills and tools to drive, accelerate and scale entrepreneurial practice in education. The first cohort had 14 participants and the program was personally delivered by the UPenn senior faculty at the AnantU campus.
The course is specifically designed for education industry leaders, school leadership teams, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, policy makers or anyone interested in addressing critical issues in education through innovation. The program creates a path for seeding, accelerating and scaling entrepreneurial practices in education.
The program also provided access to an exclusive network of Global Education leaders and trained participants in addressing real-world problems in areas such as navigating the education investment landscape and finding product-market fit. The week-long immersive program combined tailored in-person and real-time virtual sessions combined with online asynchronous modules using UPenn’s lean start-up curriculum, design thinking and project-based learning.
Meanwhile, in other news, Anant National University’s, Anant School of Climate Action has become the only academic institute from India to participate in the COP27 climate negotiations, which are being held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Dr. Anunaya Chaubey, Provost, AnantU, addressed the participants of the workshop ‘Tackling climate change: remedial measures for SMEs, sustainable infrastructure and land management’ via a video message at COP 27.
The 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference was held from November 6 to November 18, 2022. The aim of COP27 is to gain partnerships and drive the implementation of emission targets of various countries worldwide.
