Hyderabad: Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof. D. Ravinder appreciated the contributions and efforts of Shadan Group of Institutions to ensure and improve education for women.
Speaking at Shadan Degree College of Women’s Graduation Day on Tuesday, Prof. Ravinder paid tribute to Dr. Mohammed Vizarath Rasool Khan, the group’s late founder and chairman, and expressed hope that under the leadership of incumbent chairman Mohammed Shah Alam Rasool Khan, the group would have its own university.
Shadan Education Society Secretary Shadan Tahniyat, Chairman Rasool Khan and Co-Secretary Dr. Zehra Khan attended the occasion. The Vice Chancellor praised the educational group for the large number of students graduating from its institutions each year.
prof. Ravinder urged students to continue their education even after graduation and to make the country proud. “The doors of Osmania University are open to anyone who wants to pursue higher education,” he added.
