NEET UG 2022 Results: What’s next?

NTA is expected to announce NEET UG 2022 results today. Once declared, candidates can check their results on the official website. And after the results, the counseling process will begin.

NEET UG 2022 Results: Today, the wait of more than 18 lakh candidates may come to an end as the National Testing Agency, NTA, is expected to release the highly anticipated NEET UG 2022 results today, September 7, 2022. On August 25, NTA released a notice regarding the NEET results and the answer key. In the notification, NTA stated that the agency will release the NEET UG 2022 results by September 7. Once NTA releases the NEET results, candidates can check and download their respective NEET UG 2022 results from the official website i.e. neet .nta.nic.in.

In addition to the results, NTA will also release the final answer key and merit list. Both will be available on the official websites of NEET and NTA.

The National Testing Agency will publish the NEET UG 2022 results on the official website of NEET, which is neet.nta.nic.in.

HOW TO CHECK NEET UG 2022 RESULTS?

Once NTA announces the NEET results, candidates can check on the official website. Visit neet.nta.nic.in and click on the link with ‘NEET UG Results 2022’. A new page appears on the screen. Enter the requested credentials and click on the send option. Once you click on the submit option, the NEET UG 2022 results will appear on the screen. Candidates are then requested to download the same and make a printout of it for future reference.

WHAT AFTER NEET UG 2022 RESULTS?

After NTA announces the long-awaited NEET UG results 2022, eligible candidates will be allowed to apply for admission into MBBS, AYUSH, BDS and other courses through the All India Quota Seats (AIQ) and State Guidance Process.

NUMBER OF QUOTAS AVAILABLE FOR ADMISSION

Admission to all places in Undergraduate Medical/Dental Courses will be done through NEET (UG) – 2022. The following are the places available under different quota, reads the Official NEET UG 2022 Notification.

  • Seat quota for all India
  • State Government Seat Quota
  • Central Institutions/Universities/Considered Universities
  • State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges or any Private University
  • Quota Seating for Central Pool
  • All seats, including NRI Quota and Management Quota, are in private medical colleges with no aid/minority/non-minority assistance.
  • AIIMS Institutes in India/JIPMER
  • The counseling for successful candidates for seats under 15% All India Quota and 100% including 85% state quota seats of Central Institutions (ABVIMS & RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ESIC)/ Central Universities (including DU/BHU/AMU)/ AIIMS/ JIPMER and Honorable Universities, will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS for undergraduate medical/dental courses. MCC only does the registration for AFMC and forwards the details of registered Candidates to AFMC Authorities for the admission process. DU/BHU and other universities may use the score for other relevant courses offered by them.
