Harsh Goenka Says People Are Underestimating Elon Musks Genius, Calls Him Ahead Of His Time

This isn’t Goenka’s first time praising Elon Musk

Following the takeover of Twitter, billionaire Elon Musk has faced a wave of criticism for his controversial policies and abrupt layoffs. From nearly half of the workforce being laid off to the mass layoffs of employees as a result of the billionaire’s “hardcore” ultimatum, Musk has earned bricks from all corners. However, Indian businessman Harsh Goenka defended the billionaire, saying people “underestimate Elon Musk’s genius”.

Goenka claimed there had to be “a method to his madness” and noted that Musk was ahead of his time with his other companies such as Tesla, SpaceX and The Boring Company. “He definitely has a game plan with Twitter that we just can’t understand. Let’s give him time before predicting his death,” Mr Goenka tweeted.

This isn’t the first time Goenka has praised Elon Musk’s “genius”. Last week, the chairman of RPG Enterprises shared an old video from Elon Musk in which the billionaire talked about how he worked very hard in his early days. The video he shared is from 2014 when the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX gave a speech at the USC (University of Southern California) Marshall School of Business’s undergraduate ceremony.

In the video, Mr. Musk talked about how he and his brother started their first business in a small office, not an apartment. and how he slept on the couch. Musk also advised people to work every waking hour, especially those who are in the early stages of starting a business. A week ago, Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, also defended her billionaire son, urging his critics to “stop being mean to him.” Maye Musk was interviewed as part of a BBC documentary in which she described the richest person in the world as a “genius”.

Elon Musk recently issued an ultimatum to Twitter employees requiring them to commit to a hardcore work environment or accept a buyout. After this, hundreds of employees resigned before the deadline of the ultimatum.

In recent weeks, Musk has also fired people who opposed or disagreed with him, often through public tweets. Its new $8 per month verification system has also seen blue tick users impersonate major corporations, athletes, politicians and celebrities, making it increasingly difficult to identify which profiles are legitimate.
