Greenwood High students win Inter School chess titles – India Education | Latest Education News | Global Educational News

Bangalore: As a tribute to its chess prowess, Greenwood High International School won the boys and girls team titles in the Inter School Chess Tournament recently held at their campus by NPS HSR.

Greenwood High Girls Team scored 108 points from 7 rounds to win the girls team title. NPS HSR scored 95 points to secure second place and Sri Aurobindo Memorial School took 3rd position with 87 points.

Greenwood High Boys Team scored 108 points from 7 rounds to win the Boys Team title. NPS HSR with 97.5 points secured second place and Sri Aurobindo Memorial School with 87.5 points secured 3rd position.

In addition to winning the group titles, the following Greenwood High Students also won individual awards:

Shraddha Somanath -1st place in U16 girls category, Nishanth S Gowda – 3rd place in boys U16 category.

Adrika Satpati – 2nd place, Nikita Nale -3rd place and Kyra Seth Syed -5th place in U13 girls category.

Jyothir Adithya Kilari – 2nd place and Vishruth Ajay Krishnan – 3rd place in the U11 Boys category.

Nisarga G P- 2nd place and Aanya Mahajan -5th place in category U9 girls, Rihan Sharma -5th place in category boys U9

Nayonika Ghosh – 3rd place in U7 Girls Category and Darsh Jain – 5th place in U7 Boys Category.
