Nisha, one of the beneficiary students, claimed that she is from a village in Thiruvallur and said that the ‘Pudhumai Penn’ plan will help her in many ways.

“I know that the state government has stopped the ‘Thaliku Thangam’ scheme (in which the state government gave 4 grams of gold for the marriage); However, I also know that in life a man can leave you at any time, but your education will be with you forever,” said Nisha.
