Apple is bringing a lot of new features to the Photos app with iOS 16 this year. There’s a new iCloud Photo Library Shared feature that’s very welcome (some early bugs with the public launch), a background remover, a duplicate photo tool, and more.

Below, we will focus on batch editing iPhone photos for a more seamless and efficient experience.

Batch Edit iPhone Photos: How It Works in iOS 16

  1. Run iOS 16, open the Photos app on your iPhone
  2. Choose a photo, tap Edit in the upper right corner
  3. Make your edits, and choose Done in the lower right corner
  4. Now tap the three dots icon in the upper right corner
  5. Tap Copy edits
  6. Choose the back arrow to see all your photos
  7. Tap Select in the top right corner and choose all the photos you want to edit
  8. Press three dots icon in the bottom right corner
  9. To elect Paste edits

After pasting the edits on the selected photos, you will see a progress indicator appear, when done, it will show as “Paste edits completed” with a check mark.
