Apple products and features include innovative privacy technologies designed to minimize the amount of user data that someone can access.

“This is why Safari throws trackers off track. That’s why the Health app keeps user data secret and Siri learns what the user needs rather than who they are,” the tech giant said.

These are just a few of the dozens of privacy features Apple has built into the foundation of every product and service it makes.

Apple believes that every user should have a clear understanding of how their data is being used and have tools to decide when to share their data and with whom.

The playful short film “A Day in the Life of an Average Person’s Data” invites users to follow Apple TV+ Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed through his average day, explaining how bad actors misuse data and how Apple works to protect his personal information to keep safe.

The commitment to transparency and control – and to privacy-preserving innovations throughout technology – gives Apple users more choice and more control over their personal information.

On Data Privacy Day and every day, Apple teams continue this work, the company said.

Data Privacy Day is an international event that takes place on January 28 every year.
