Apple AirPods Pro 2 could launch along with iPhone 14: Report

Apple could launch its AirPods Pro 2 at its upcoming Apple event on Sept. 7, according to a new report from Bloomberg journalist Mark Gruman. The original AirPods Pro was launched in India in 2019. Now the notorious success of Apple AirPods Pro has been causing a lot of commotion for several months.

While Apple TWS earbuds were expected to launch earlier this year, it is now suggested that the new Airpods Pro 2 could be announced along with the iPhone 14 series and Apple Watch Series 8 at Apple’s upcoming ‘Far Out’ launch event.

The latest rumors come from the Power On newsletter from Apple expert Mark Gruman of Bloomberg. Gruman suggests that in addition to iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8, the company will also announce the highly anticipated AirPods Pro 2.

According to the reports, AirPods Pro 2 would not see any significant changes in terms of design. It would be an in-ear fit maintained to ensure a good sound isolating seal to allow active noise cancellation to function.

The charging case will reportedly support MagSafe wireless charging and the device may support Spatial Audio which can return. Apple is expected to announce a new on-chip H2 system to power Apple’s new TWS earbuds.

Meanwhile, Gruman has also suggested that the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro models would include larger batteries. If Apple increases battery capacity, it would be the second time in a row that the tech giant would increase its battery capacity. Gruman claimed this development in his Power On weekly newsletter.

In addition, a post on Baidu (via 9To5Mac) also claimed that Apple may increase the battery capacity of both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models. In addition, the post suggested that the base iPhone 14 model could come with a 3279mAh battery compared to the iPhone 13 which had a 3227mAh battery support. Similarly, iPhone 14 Pro could come with 3200mAh battery support compared to iPhone 13 Pro which had 3095mAh battery.
