Actor Kamal R Khan Arrested Over Controversial 2020 Tweets

Actor Kamal R Khan, also known as KRK, was arrested by Malad Police on Tuesday morning. According to the police, KRK was arrested in 2020 for FIR against his controversial social media posts.

According to available information, Kamal Khan was arrested after landing at Mumbai airport on Tuesday. He will be arraigned today at the Borivali court in Mumbai.

The FIR was filed on the basis of a complaint filed by Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal on April 30, 2020, in which he alleged that KRK’s tweets about the late Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor allegedly spread “hatred”.

Rahul Kanal had said in the FIR that a person named Kamal R Khan regularly spread hate on social media.

“He came into Bollywood with a movie called ‘Deshdrohi’ and really behaves like this. Even if the world is going through a pandemic, I can’t understand his inhumane behavior and spreading hate in all areas of life,” he said. he.

The complainant said that KRK made snide remarks against deceased actors, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor.

“After the death of Irrfan Khan, the pride of India, he made bad claims and statements about him. He also spoke nonsense about senior actor the late Rishi Kapoor,” he said in the indictment.

He had also said that KRK was not in the country and had asked Prime Minister Modi to file a case against him.

“This person is definitely not in our country. I would urge our Prime Minister to kindly file a case against him under Sections:- 505, 504, 501, 188, 117, 121 and 153 (A ) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and thus an example for all,” the complainant had said in the complaint.
